Artist Profile Series (2023)

A pilot project launched to showcase profiles of local Galway artists, featuring interviews and films that celebrate the vibrant artistic community.

The project is inspired by the Brazilian Modernist Movement of 1922 and the legendary classical musician Heitor Villa-Lobos, bringing a unique art direction and branding to each piece.

Driven by a deep appreciation for Galway's artistic talent, the project aims to continue and expand, featuring profiles of local artists in the years to come. This initiative revisits journalistic roots and engages in non-fiction pursuits, offering an opportunity to interview and learn from admired artists.

The first interview featured Ukrainian surrealist painter Martisha Sea.

This exclusive interview was screened at the renowned local venue, "Silent Cinema," during the highly successful and sold-out charity event, "Zero Line."
