Verena was the lead actress, producer and video editor for the experimental short film used as promotional material for the 34th Edition of Galway Film Fleadh.
This project was a collaborative effort between Verena and the talented team of filmmakers with whom she frequently works. Together, they conceptualized and storyboarded the film, collaborating with local artists to create a compelling soundtrack and incorporate borrowed materials.

In her acting debut in The Treatment she assumed the sole role of a witch traversing the beach in search of natural remedies to soothe pain and complete a ritual with an oceanic spirit.
This experimental film provided an opportunity to delve into animation and rotoscoping techniques, where she played a dual role as both actor and model for the rotoscope animation created by the director.

Funded by Creative Ireland, Stories of Change shares the lives of individuals who are actively making a positive impact on Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share. Through the power of storytelling, food, and photography, Stories of Change offers practical solutions to address the climate crisis.
Verena filmes and edited the Stories of Change exhibition events held in four counties across Ireland. In addition to this, she assumed the roles of director and editor for the final documentary titled "The Characters of Stories of Change." These contributions served as the primary promotional tools for the project, utilized in social media campaigns and funding applications.

Invited to document a live performance art piece by Ukrainian surrealist artist and curator Martisha Sea for the inaugural all- Ukrainian art exhibition "Point Zero" at 126 Gallery in December 2022.
